Welcome Home

My main task will be to make you all feel like you are at home feeling safe and cosy. Just like you are sitting comfortably on your sofa, reading a book, or watching your favourite thing. I would relax your mind and tell you very interesting things. I will share my personal experience of what I think is good, and I will introduce you to a director that really thinks “outside the box”, and I am sure he will be one of the people that all of you would start following closely in the future. Think of me as a source of positive source of unique information.

Here and Now

One thing is known for sure. We live in a time where there is a ton of information. The visual media is overflowing the ocean of our own capacity to know what makes something unique and what touches our emotions in a way we can relate it and connect it to our own lives. And because I am a super emotional person and different things touch me in a way that leaves a deep mark on my soul, I can say I really know what is good and what it is not. And do not get me wrong, they are some movies that are so bad that there are good in a way, like “The Room” for example. Yes, it is cringy, but if you start reading everything about it, you will see that the person behind it is just incredibly different and crazy in a good way.

Open Your Eyes for The Realness

Together we can do great. We can see the beauty. We can see it even in the ugliness. A happy end is an option, but not every time, just like life itself. I like the cinema and Tv products that represent the life of how it really is. With every little detail, with every look, with every beat of the music and every cut. Does not matter of the genre, nor the country or the era it was made. Real is real! And it is so rare nowadays that people are kind of surprise when they see it and feel it. I know it is weird and a little bit sad, but we can all change that when we start to focus on the realness around us. And cinema can teach us a lot about that and show us the right way. So, I offer you to experience it with me and enjoy the real realness.

What to Expect From the Blog

I have a few topics on my mind already. The first one is about the upcoming Oscars nominations, which are a few days away, in a year where cinema was disturbed by the Coronavirus. The movies this year are leading us into a journey that kindles the fire of diverse emotions and life lessons. The unusual thing is that some of the nominations are coming from the studios like Amazon and A24. Amazon is an online platform, which is finally recognized by the industry, and it was about time. On the other hand, A24 is an independent film company, and it should not be a surprise to anyone that their movie is nominated for best picture and one of the best Tv shows airing right now on HBO. It is also their production. I will also share my favourite things I am watching right now and stuff with the “golden potential and real sense”. And to put the cherry on top of this beautiful cake, I will talk about my personal favourite director and screenwriter, that always shows the rest of the industry how to do cinema so real and so touching that it is unbelievable.
