Who I Am

Really nice to meet you all. You can call me Clyde. I am a guy who is really interested in all kinds of visual arts and especially movies and tv shows. I can say it is not only my main hobby but something that I really want to do in the future. From a very young age, I was very interested in what is up on the TV, watching almost everything, from animal documentaries to animations to black & white movies.

I had the passion for seeing more and more, and I had the inner feeling of what is good and what is not. I remembered I was 12 when they opened one of the best cinemas in town just a few minutes away from my house. I start going there with my best friends every week, and sometimes we were watching up to 3 or 4 movies during the weekends.

I had a small notebook where I was writing about the directors, about the cinematography, which edits I like the most, and what music fits the best. And at home, I was researching more and more, and every next time I was diving deeper and deeper until I realized that cinema is my true passion.

a Little Bit of a Story

I believe that behind every person writing about the visual art forms, there is a story to be told. And the strongest your story is, the strongest your content will be. Do you believe that one day you can wake up and you just know what you want to do in life and where you want to focus your energy? I do because it happened to me. And since then, my life became a movie script itself. Just like in the movies with ups and downs, with plot twists and dramatic moments.

Long Story Short Life Is a Script

I want to say that every single one of us has a script in progress. I mean, it is not only the one happening in our heads, but the destiny master plans too. They do work together, and it is a beautiful thing to watch with your own eyes. And living day by day it has got more and more complicated and realistic. So, I really see my life as a script, I am not sure what genre it is, but I guess it is a complex mix. My only advice to all of you is to find a way to enjoy it to the maximum as much and you can.

Films & Shows

I do watch an insane number of Films and Tv shows. On all platforms, on the Tv, on the cinema, everywhere. I also read a lot about the upcoming things, about the movie festivals, about the nominations. I read user reviews, I read critic reviews, I watch behind the scenes for everything I like it a lot. If I sit to read a book It is going to be about cinema history, biographies of famous people work on a unique project. Even my favourite book of all time is the bible of how to write a script: “The Screenwriter’s Workbook” by the great Syd Field.
